JD(S) minority cell leader of Bethangady ends life

Belthangady, Sep 10, 2013:  The President of the Belthangady taluk minority cell of the JD(S) has reportedly ended his life  by  hanging himself in his house.

The deceased is Haneef Laila. It is learnt, he had been to Kakkinje on September 9, Monday. He was supposed to have returned early morning and then hanged  himself.

Though the exact cause of the suicide is not known, it is suspected that financial problems drove him to the extreme step.

Haneef, an autorickshaw driver  is married and has left behind his  wife and four children.

Belthangady police have registered a case.
