JD(S) holds bike rally in city

Mangalore, Feb 2, 2013: As a part of its mega convention, the district   JD(S) youth wing organized a bike rally from Bunts Hostel Circle to the party office in Falnir on Feb 2, Saturday.

As many as 200 JD(S) activists participated in the bike rally which commenced at  Bunts Hostel Circle  and culminated at the party office via Jyothi Circle, Balmatta and Kankanady.

 

JD(S)  leaders Srinath Rai, MG Hegde, DM Aslam, Mohammed Kunhi Vitla, Haji Abubakker Natekal, Vasanth Poojary, Ratnakar Suvarna, Krishnappa Poojary and others were present.

After the rally, a workshop for JD(S) women party workers will be held at the party office.

Later in the day, State JD(S) President H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate a mega convention of party workers at Abdul Nazeer Saab auditorium, Central Maidan, Farangipete.
