International Women’s Day Celebrated at DKMUL

Mangaluru, Mar 8, 2026: International Women’s Day was celebrated at the Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd (DKMUL) with a programme honouring women achievers.

Writer Chandrakala Nandavar and Bharatanatyam artiste Remona Pereira were felicitated on the occasion.

The programme was inaugurated by DKMUL President Raviraj Hegde and Vice-President Uday S. Kotyan. Union directors Sucharita Shetty and Mamatha R. Shetty, along with Managing Director Vivek D., addressed the gathering.

Ashwini Aital conducted various activities for the women employees of the union. Prizes were distributed to winners of dance, devotional song and rangoli competitions organised as part of the celebrations.

Janet Rosario welcomed the gathering, while Shobha proposed the vote of thanks.
