In DK, Udupi, NOTA gets third highest votes

Mangaluru, June 5, 2024: In Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, the third highest number of votes after the BJP and Congress candidates has gone to NOTA.

As per available statistics, a total of 23,576 NOTA votes were polled in Dakshina Kannada and 11,269 NOTA votes in Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency.

The highest NOTA votes were polled in Belthangady with 7,691 votes followed by Moodbidri – 2166 votes, Mangaluru North - 2,019, Mangaluru South - 1,551, Mangaluru - 892, Bantwal -2353, Puttur – 2302, Sullia -4541. There were 61 NOTA votes in postal ballots.

In Udupi Chikkamagaluru constituency, 1,578 NOTA votes were polled in Kundapur, 1,778 inUdupi, 1,523 in Kaup, 943 in Shringeri, 1,135 in Moodigere, 814 in Chikkamagaluru and 684 in Tarikere.
