Illegal petty shops cleared from Nehru maidan area.

Mangalore, Dec 26: The illegal petty shops put up on the road sides around the Nehru Maidan and Service bus stand area were forcibly cleared by the MCC officers in the morning hours between 7 am to 9 am. The action had to be taken in spite of giving enough time for the shop owners to clear the area. Around 35 pity shops were cleared.

 

 

 

The shops were removed before the shop owners could reach the location. The public see this as a welcome sign and support the action of cleaning the streets.
