Mangaluru, Oct 6, 2025: Stating the way the five guarantees of the Congress government have helped people, State Energy Minister K.J. George said if a political party determines, it can do work which benefits a large section of society.

Speaking at the Rachana awards ceremony of the Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mangaluru on Sunday, Mr. George said party leader Rahul Gandhi came to know of problems faced by people during his interaction in the Bharath Jodo Yatra. This led Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to announce five guarantee schemes following his first Cabinet meeting.
