IOB Mangalore region celebrates golden jubilee

Mangalore, Apr 22, 2013: Indian Overseas Bank, Mangalore Region celebrated its golden jubilee to coincide with the inaugural of the renovated Hampankatta branch of the Bank. Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, declared open the refurbished branch.

AJ Shetty, Chairman of AJ Group of Institutions, Raghavendra Shastri, Managing Trustee of Sharavu Mahaganapathy Temple, Dr M Narendra, Chairman and Managing Director, IOB, K Anil, Senior Regional Manager, IOB and others were present on the occasion.

 

In his address, the Bank Chairman Dr M Narendra said the IOB which has opened over 1000 branches in 2012-13  targets to open over 3000 branches by June 2013. He said the Bank wants to see more and more Kannadigas in its service fold.

G Suryanarayana, DGS, IOB Officer’s Association, S Neelambaran Nair, Chief Manager, Hampankatta Branch and Sadashiva Padubidri  also spoke. Some longstanding customers of the Bank were also felicitated on the occasion.
