IMA hosts workshop on medical ethics

Mangalore, Jul 4: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) House hosted a workshop on ethical practice for doctors on June 3, Saturday.

Dr. Sudesh gave a presentation on the subject and pointed out the differences between ideal medical practice and what is currently being done.

DC V. Ponnuraj said that those who are not committed to their profession cannot continue in it. He also said that doctors have to follow similar codes and rules, which will soon be implemented as per the request of the doctors. He called upon doctors not to forget the code of the medical profession and to work sincerely.

President of IMA Dr. Mohandas Bhandary and Dr. Jagannath were also present for the workshop.
