Human bones found discarded near KSRTC Bus Stand

Mangalore, June 20, 2012 : Pedestrians found a number of human skulls and bones strewn near KSRTC Bus Stand on June 20, Wednesday.

 

 

 

A number of anxious pedestrians gathered on the spot and began talking about it. People suspect that the bones must have been thrown away either by medical students or the staff of the medical college located nearby.

Last year, someone had packed a number of human skulls and bones in a gunny sack and thrown it in a garbage bin in Hampankatta.

The public feels that throwing human remains on the roadside is extremely offensive and can cause panic among the people. Many people feel that the authorities must do something to put an end to this insensitive practice of throwing away human remains.
