Huge fire in ice cream warehouse at Adyar; loss worth several lakhs

Mangaluru, Mar 28, 2023: A huge fire that erupted at an ice cream warehouse at Adyar during the wee hours of March 28, Tuesday resulted in loss to the tune of several lakhs of rupees.

 

The firm named Polar Ice Cream Stockists stored Nandini ice cream. The fire was noticed at around 2 am and two lorries which were parked nearby were also gutted.

A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire. The fire was extinguished after four hours of operation by the fire service personnel.
