House burgled in Ira; valuables worth over Rs one lakh stolen

Bantwal, Aug 28, 2023: Thieves who entered into a house at Ira by  breaking open the back door have robbed cash and valuables worth over Rs one lakh.

 

The burglary took place in the house of  Abdul Hameed when he was away to his mother-in-law’s house on the night of August 26. However when he returned the next morning, he found the back door open. The thieves had ransacked the almirah in the house in search of valuables.

Police officials have visited the spot. Finger print experts and dog squad has also been pressed into service.
