House at Gurupur suffers damage in fire mishap

Mangaluru, Mar 10, 2023: A house at Karamogaru Hosamane in Gurupur Gram Panchayat limits suffered extensive damage in a fire mishap on March 9, Thursday. The loss has been estimated at nearly Rs 5 lakhs.

 

Fire was first noticed at around 9 am in the house belonging to  Devanandini Marla when the occupants were  away. Neighbours who noticed the smoke had immediately informed the Gram Panchayat and fire service personnel.

An electrical short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
