House, Cattle Shed of Illegal Cow Slaughter Accused Seized in Bantwal

Bantwal, June 9, 2026: The Bantwal Town Police have seized the house and cattle shed belonging to an accused in an illegal cow slaughter case at Kolake-Panjaje in Sajipamuda village.

The action was taken in connection with Crime No. 68/2026 registered at the Bantwal Town Police Station under Sections 4, 7 and 12 of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020.

According to police, the seized properties belong to the accused, Mustafa, and are located at the site where the alleged offence was committed. The seizure was carried out under Section 8(1) of the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020.

Police have submitted a report to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mangaluru, seeking further legal action in the case.
