Hosangadi jewellery shop burglary case : Car of robbers found abandoned in Ullal

Manjeshwar, Jul 27, 2021: The car used by a gang of thieves which burgled the Rajadhani Jewellers at Manjeshwar Hosangadi, was found in Ullal Police Station limits. Police have also recovered silver jewellery worth seven and a half kilograms and a cash of Rs 1.5 lakh which were found in the car.

 

The suspicion is that  the thieves might have escaped with the remaining silver articles and cash in another car.

It has also been gathered that the car which was seized in Ullal, was hired from  Suratkal.

It may be recalled here that the  thieves had looted the jewellery store during the wee hours of Monday after tying down and assaulting the watchman.
