Homestay attack : High Court grants bail to 4 accused

Mangalore, June 14, 2013 : Four of the accused in the notorious Morning Mist Homestay attack case, have been granted bail by the High Court.

A Single Member Bench of the Court has granted bail to Shailesh Shetty, Rajesh, Taranath and Shailesh subject to a bond of Rs 20,000 and one surety.

It may be recalled here that the police had arrested over 40 persons in connection with the homestay attack case which place on July 18, 2012. A group of Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists had barged into the homestay and had assaulted young men and women who were celebrating a birthday party there.
