Hitendra is new Mangalore City Police Commissioner ; Kharbikar transferred

Mangalore, Dec 13, 2013: Mangalore City Police Commissioner Manish Kharbikar has been transferred on promotion as DIG of Karnataka State Reserve Police. He will be replaced by R Hitendra.

The new Mangalore Police Commissioner is a 1996 batch officer and hails from Kolar.

Before being appointed as Commissioner he was serving as DIG of Anti-Corruption Department under CBI  from 2006 to 2013. He has even won the Police Medal for Meritorious Service last year.
