Hit and run case at Jeppinamogru: Municipal worker dies, another injured

Mangaluru, Aug 12, 2022: A municipal worker died and another sustained serious injuries when an unidentified vehicle knocked them down while they were cutting grass on the  roadside on the NH 66 at Jeppinamogaru on August 12, Friday.

 

The deceased is Vicky Khan (23) from Bihar. Another worker, Gopal Poojary who has been injured has been hospitalised.

The accident took place at around 8 am and the vehicle that caused the accident was heading towards Mangaluru. Police suspect that a pick-up vehicle was responsible for the mishap.

Traffic police have registered a case.
