Hindu outfits protest against arrest of Togadia, Singhal

Mangalore, Aug 25, 2013: VHP and Bhajrangdal activists took out a protest march from the VHP office at PVS to Bunts Hostel on August 25, Sunday to condemn the arrest of  VHP leaders Ashok Singhal and Praveen Bhai Togadia in Ayodhya.

The protestors blocked the  Bunts Hostel Circle  for some time disrupting traffic on the route. The protestors later vacated the place after police intervened.

Jagadish Shenava, VHP leader who addressed the protestors, lashed out at the Government for arresting the leaders. He also stated that another protest has been planned in Mangalore on August 26.

Sharan Pumpwell,   Gopal Kuttar, Shivananda Mendon, Pradeep Pumpwell and others took part.

Both Togadia and Singhal were arrested  as part of the Government plans to stall the  Yatra organised by the VHP in Ayodhya. If Togadia was arrested at Ayodhya, Singhal was arrested at Lucknow Airport.
