Hindu activists thrash man for sexually harassing colleague

Mangaluru, Dec 08, 2022: A man who allegedly tried to sexually harass a woman of another community who is also his colleague, was thrashed by Bajrangdal activists and handed over to the Ullal police.

 

The incident took place at a deserted location at Ullal Abbanjara on December 7, Wednesday night. The accused has been identified as Muneer (27) of Adyar Padavu. He and the woman  from Ullalbail were colleagues and worked in a garment shop at Thokkottu. The victim is married and has a child.

It is learnt Muneer had met the woman at an isolated spot on Wednesday night on the pretext of returning money and had tried to sexually harass her when Bajrangdal workers rushed to the spot and thrashed him.

The man was arrested  based on the complaint lodged by the victim.
