Heavy rains in Kasargod claim 2 lives; several houses damaged

Kasargod, Sep 21, 2020:    Heavy rains that have been lashing Kasargod district since the past few days have claimed two lives. Over 25 houses have been damaged due to rains in the district.

 

 

In Madhur Chenakkodu a 37 year old man named Chandrashekhar  drowned in a pond while in Chervattur a man named Sudhaker (50) died in a similar incident.

As many as 12 houses were partially damaged due to strong winds in Adkattabail beach area. In Manjeswhar, the house of Felix D’Souza was damaged after a tree fell over it.

In Pilikkodu rain water has entered as many as 60 houses.
