Heavy rain: Holiday for schools and PU colleges on Wednesday

Mangaluru, July 04, 2023: With rain continuing to lash various parts of Dakshina Kannada, Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan as a precautionary measure has declared holiday for schools and pre-university colleges on Wednesday, July 5.

 

In addition, instructions are given for public to safeguard against dangers that may arise due to continuous rains. Parents are instructed to prevent their children from going near low lying areas filled with water, ponds, river banks and beaches.

Holiday for schools in Kasargod: The Kasargod District Administration too has declared holidays for schools in the district on Wednesday in the wake of heavy rainfall.
