Haj Bhavan construction is state govt’s responsibility: Irfan Ahmed

 Mangaluru, Aug 07, 2016:  Mohammad Irfan Ahmed, National Vice President of BJP Minorities Morcha and  Central Haj Committee Member has said that the several Indians who are in a helpless position in  Saudi Arabia after losing their jobs will be returning to their motherland  very soon.

Speaking to reporters at the BJP office on August 6, Saturday, he said the Indian Government was committed to protect the interests of the jobless Indian expatriates in the Gulf.

On the proposed Haj Bhavan in Mangaluru, he said the construction of the Bhavan was the responsibility of the state government. In case the present government fails to take up the work, the BJP which is optimistic of coming to power in the state after the next elections, will take up the work, he added.

 He also stated that the BJP had nothing to do with the attacks on Dalits in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. The respective state governments are responsible for the law and order situations there, he added.

Irfan Ahmed was felicitated on the occasion on behalf of the BJP.
