Guruprasad murder case – five men surrender to Bunder police

Mangalore, April 25, 2012 : Five men surrendered to the Bunder police on April 24 Tuesday and admitted that they had murdered Guruprasad at Bibi Alabi Road, Bunder.

 

The five are Rakesh, Shailesh, Sharan, Pradeep, and Prasad—all allegedly members of Kadle Manja’s gang. Pradeep is also believed to be associated with the Sangh Parivar.

The police say that they will hold a press meet today during which they will reveal further details.

It may be recalled that a gang of men brutally chased and murdered Guruprasad in broad daylight on April 23 Monday. They chased him from the bus stop to a juice center and hacked him to death.

Guruprasad was arrested in connection with Kadle Manja’s murder and was let off due to lack of evidence. He is believed to have been murdered by Kadle Manja’s gang in revenge.
