Gowda Community urges Congress party to gain their confidence

Mangalore, Jan 8, 2014: Ramanath B.S., organizing secretary of Congress, Napoklu Block said that the ‘Land Reforms Act’ introduced by the Congress government has hugely benefitted the Gowda community. Hence their current generation must support the Congress party in the upcoming election.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 8, Wednesday, he said that even a single candidate from the Gowda community is not present in the KPCC.  This decision of Congress has made the members of Gowda community to switch off their interest towards other parties. Hence the party needs to plan their strategies to pull them back, he said.

He also said that even though Gowda community are present in large numbers in Sullia, Beltangady, Puttur, Madikeri and Virajpete, the Congress has failed to offer a position for the Gowda candidates. Only Sullia and Napoklu Block Congress have leaders belonging to the Gowda community.

Further he urged the Congress to plan certain strategies to gain the confidence of the Gowda community and rule the country.
