Gold worth Rs 18 lakhs seized from Bhatkal man at MIA

Mangaluru, June 23, 2022: A passenger of Bhatkal origin who arrived by a flight from Dubai was apprehended by the customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport on June 22, Wednesday for possessing gold worth Rs 18.95 lakhs.

 

The gold in the form of paste was hidden inside a women’s underwear. The gold weighed 364.500 grams.
