Gold coins available at 7% discount in post office

Mangalore, Nov 15, 2012 : India Post and Reliance Gold are selling gold coins bearing the logo of India Post.

The senior superintendent of the post office issued a press release, in which he stated that the postal department is offering a discount of 7 percent on gold coins purchased from Oct 8 to Dec 31.

The public can get this discount at Mangalore Head Post Office in Hampankatta Post Office, Balmatta Post Office, and Suratkal Post Office.

The post office sells 99.99% pure Swiss gold coins and 24-carat gold coins in denominations of 0.5gm, 1gm, 5gms, 8gms, 10gms, 20gms, 50gms, and 100gms.
