Go Matha Ratha Yatra flagged off in city

Mangalore, Jan 15, 2014: A Go Matha Ratha Yatra aimed at  creating awareness among the masses on the need to protect cattle, was flagged off  on January 15, Tuesday by  Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri, Trustee of Sri Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple.

 

The Yatra has  been organised as part of the membership drive of the Govanithashraya Trust.  The Yatra which passed through Venkatramana Temple, Vinayaka Temple, Kaikamba, Nagabrahma Temple at Alake, Kudroli and Mannagudda areas, concluded at the Sri Marigudi Temple, Urva.

 Dr  P Ananthakrishna Bhat, Secretary of the Trust, Sidhar Bhat, Manohar Tulajaram, Treasurers and others were present.
