Gangolli: Young woman falls ill; dies two days after receiving Covid vaccine

Gangolli, Aug 27, 2021: A young woman  from Narkali  in Harkur village here  fell ill a day after receiving the Covid- vaccination and  died in the hospital.

 

The deceased woman is Ashwini(23). She had received the first dose of Covid vaccine at a Primary Health Centre at Aloor on August 23. On August 24, she  fell severely ill after repeated vomiting. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Kundapur where doctors said her blood pressure  was low. She was then rushed to the Manipal Hospital where she died on the night of August 25 without responding to treatment.

A case has been registered in Gangolli Police Station.
