Gang attack on youth: 8 in police custody

Mangaluru, Dec 01, 2021: Police have taken eight persons into custody in connection with the brutal gang attack on a youth at Urwa  on Sunday night.

 

All the accused are said to be belonging to Alike gang. The assailants had targeted a youth named Shravan. Police suspected this to be a retaliatory act to avenge the killing of Indrajith which took place in 2020. It is learnt Shravan was the friend of a relative of two accused in Indrajith case.
