Gandhi Jayanti celebrated in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, October 2, 2022:  Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of the Lok Sabha and State President of Bharatiya Janata Party of Karnataka paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi, fondly remembered as Bapu or the father of the nation, on his 153rd birth anniversary.

Minister for Energy, Kannada & Culture and District Incharge Minister V Sunil Kumar and MLA Mangaluru South Vedavyas Kamath joined him to pay homage to the Mahatma Gandhi statue located in front of Town Hall.

On the occasion the new footpath in front of Town Hall was inaugurated by the District Incharge Minister V Sunil Kumar. Mayor Jayanand Anchan and Deputy Mayor Poornima and others were present.
