Footwear shop gutted in fire mishap

Udupi, Aug 20, 2021: A footwear shop in Manipal was gutted in a fire mishap on August 19, Thursday night. Short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire. The entire stock of footwear in the shop was destroyed in the fire.

 

 

 

Fire tender vehicles from Udupi rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

The mishap took place after the owner had closed the shop after the day’s business. The loss has been estimated at several lakhs of rupees.
