Food poisoning : Over 20 students of Morarji Desai residential school hospitalised

Mangaluru, Feb 3, 2015 : As many as 22 students of the Morarji Desai Residential School for girls belonging to the minority community  had to be  hospitalised after they developed health problems   following lunch on February 2, Monday.

 

 

 

 

Five  staff of the School including the warden of the hostel were suspended  by the District Minority Welfare Officer following the incident.

The students were admitted to a private hospital in Derlakatte. However, the reason for the food poisoning is yet to be known.
