Mangalore, Nov 10, 2012 : They are the darlings of Pilikula Wildlife Sanctuary. Everyone loves to catch a glimpse of the little creatures who cuddle close by their mothers. They are also described as the festive season guests.
The two lovely cubs of four year old tigress Shambhavi and the three cubs of Gowri, a leopard are the cynosure of all eyes at Pilikula.
Gowri who was found in Karkala was brought to Pilikula in an injured state. Wildlife Director H Jayaprakash Bhandari says the newborns have good body structure unlike other newborns.
The number of tigers at Pilikula has gone upto nine with the arrival of two new members.The other members of the tiger family in Pilikula are Netravathi, Sharavathi, Raja, Vikram, Krishna and Kadamba.
