Farm laws will add to problems of farmers : Ramanatha Rai

Mangaluru, Oct 31, 2020:    The District Congress staged a protest in front of the party office at Mallikatta on October 31, Saturday to  oppose the controversial Farm laws implemented by the BJP government.

 

Addressing the protestors, former minister Ramanatha Rai said the  BJP was trying to snatch the land from the  farmers while the Congress had  given farmers their rights. He also alleged that the Centre’s laws would only add to the hardship of the farmers.

Party leaders including Sadashiva Ullal, Naveen D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde, Shalet Pinto,   T K Sudhir, Sabitha Misquith, Jacintha Vijay Alfred and others participated in the protest.
