FSL report on Uppunda school girl’s death says she died due to heart attack

Byndoor, August 7, 2022: In a big twist to the 6-year-old girl Samanvi’s death from choking on chocolate, the FSL report confirmed that the girl died due to heart attack and not due to the chocolate getting stuck as it was believed thus far.

samanviThe medical report has said that the girl had congenital heart defect which led to a heart attack and her sudden death. The conclusive medical report has put an end to speculations behind the sudden death.

It may be recalled that Samanvi, a student of Vivekananda English Medium school, Uppunda died on July 20. On the fateful day, Samanvi wasn’t obeying the words of her mother while leaving for school in the morning. At this point in time, her mother tried to calm her down by offering chocolate. She had suddenly collapsed on the School bus.

She was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. At the time, the death was mistakenly attributed to choking due to chocolate stuck in her throat.
