FMMC welcomes I MBBS students

Mangalore, August 22: Fr. Muller’s Medical College (FMMC) organized a function to welcome its I MBBS students today at the FMMC Decennial Memorial Hall. 


Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sanjeev Rai, the chief of medical services at Fr. Muller’s Hospital, urged the students to develop qualities that would transform them into successful doctors. Further, he said that FMMC has met all the requirements of the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Delivering the presidential address, he said that Rev. Fr. Patrick Rodrigues encouraged the students to work hard to reach their goals, adding that they must be worthy of the title of doctor when they leave the college. 


An interaction programme, in which the staff members interacted with students and their parents, formed part of the event. 


Fr. Dennis D’Sa, the administrator of FMMC; Fr. Richard Coelho, the administrator of FMMC Hospital; Dr. J. P. Alva, the dean of medical studies; Fr. Patrick Rodrigues, the president of FMMC, were also present.
