Expert PU College students excel in National and International Olympiads

Mangaluru, Mar 22, 2026: Students of Expert PU College have registered an outstanding performance in the second level of various Olympiad examinations conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation in February 2026.

In the National Science Olympiad (NSO) for the second PU category, Samarth Suresh Hakkandi secured 32nd rank at the international level and emerged as zonal topper. In the same category, Kruthika Mallikajjun Patil secured 59th rank (zonal second), while Bantwal Abhinand Baliya achieved 85th rank (zonal third).

In the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), Prakhyath Tirupathireddy Neelanavar secured 37th rank globally and stood first at the zonal level. Abhishek R.H. also performed well, securing 80th rank (zonal third).

In the International English Olympiad (IEO), Bhavish Benaka K.S. secured 211th rank (zonal third), adding to the institution’s achievements.

Meanwhile, in the National Science Olympiad for the first PU category, Pranav Hossahittu secured 103rd rank (zonal first), while Vivan A. Gudadin secured 135th rank (zonal second), further highlighting the academic excellence of the college.

The achievements have brought pride to the institution and underscore its commitment to academic excellence.
