Elroy Kiran Crasta elected state president of All India Catholic Union

Mangalore, Oct 2: Elroy Kiran Crasta of Gangolli was elected the state president of the All India Catholic Union (AICU) for a term of 2 years during the 56th general body meeting of the AICU. He is the first person from Udupi to be elected as the state president of AICU.

Crasta served as the president of Catholic Sabha for Kundapur and Udupi deanery and was the founder president of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) in Kundapur deanery. Currently, he is the president of St Vincent De Paul Society of Kundapur deanery.

Crasta is also the member of Mangalore Diocesan Pastoral Council and a senate member of the Sacred Heart College in Madanthyar in Belthangady. Formerly, he was the secretary of Janatha High School Alumni Association in Hemmady and the vice president of Gangolli Parish Council.
