Elderly woman found murdered in house

Udupi, Jul 4, 2012 : An elderly woman was found murdered in her house in Ammunje in Kolalgiri on July 3, Tuesday.

 

 

 

 

The deceased is Radhu Karkera (75), who is believed to have been murdered for her gold ornaments. The lady had been living all alone in her house for the past 4 – 5 years.

Radhu is the mother of five children. While three of her sons live in Mumbai, another son is living in Ammunje in a different house, and her daughter is married.

The murderers have stolen bangles, gold chains, and other ornaments.

Currently, the Brahmavar police are investigating the crime. They suspect that she was murdered by people she knew.
