Duo arrested near Padil for drugs peddling

Mangaluru, Jan 03, 2024: Police have arrested two men near Padil on January 1 on the charges of selling MDMA to the public.

 

Those arrested are Ashfaq alias Juttu Ashfaq (27) of Bajal and Umar Farooq Irfan (26) of Katipalla. Police have seized MDMA, mobile phone and scooter, all worth Rs 1,92,800 from the duo.

The arrests followed a tip off that the two were selling drugs near Padil. Both the arrested have many cases pending against them in different police stations.
