Duo arrested for attacking 2 youth in city

 Mangalore, Nov 9, 2013 : Bunder police who are investigating into the recent attack on  two youth  at KS Rao Road here earlier this week, have arrested  two persons on November 9, Saturday.

 

 Acting on a tip off, the police arrested the  two at the railway station as soon as they arrived by a train from Goa on Saturday morning. They have been identified as  Mohammad Azharuddin (31) of Shirva and  Sudhir Devadiga (25) of Adamar near Uchila.

It may be recalled here that Nazir and Latif  were attacked by a gang of five while they were returning from the court on November 5, Tuesday.  If Nasir escaped with minor injuries, Latif had sustained serious injuries. Both were returning after the hearing in the case of attempt on the life of BJP leader Chandrashekhar. The duo are accused in the case that was reported in  2004.
