Drunken driving led to Jeppinamogaru car mishap; case filed

Mangaluru, June 20, 2025: Drunken driving is said to be the reason behind the horrific car crash near Jeppinamogaru on the NH 66 during the wee hours of July 18 that killed two persons including an NSUI leader. A case has been registered in Mangaluru South Traffic Police Station.

It may be recalled here that Aman Rao (22) and Om Shree (24) had died in the mishap when the car which was overspeeding had crashed against the divider. It has now come to light that Aman who was driving the car was under the influence of alcohol. Two others including an Italian citizen were injured in the mishap.
