Driver loses control over Bolero as elephant crosses path at Charmady Ghat

Belthangady, May 13, 2024: A Bolero vehicle went out of control of the driver and landed in the side drain after a wild elephant came right on the middle of the road at Charmady Ghat in Belthangady on Sunday night.

 

The elephant has been loitering in the area since a week. The Bolero was heading towards Mangaluru from Chikkamagaluru when the incident took place. Luckily the driver did not suffer any major injury. Locals helped in rescuing the driver and lifting the vehicle. Forest personnel have visited the spot.
