Dr. P. Dayananda Pai–P. Satisha Pai Govt First Grade College stages transgender awareness street play at KSRTC Bus Stand

Mangaluru, Jun 3, 2026: As part of the co-curricular activities of the Postgraduate Department of Social Work at Dr. P. Dayananda Pai – P. Satisha Pai Government First Grade College, Rathabeedi, Mangaluru, a street play was staged at the KSRTC Bus Stand in Lalbagh to create awareness about the transgender community.

The programme was attended by Sanjana Chalavadi, President of Parivarthana Charitable Trust; Chittaranjan Das, City Mission Manager of the Mangaluru City Corporation; Dr. Nitin Cholaikar; Aruna Kumari; Ganesh; Akshata; Pushpa; and students of Dr. Dayananda Pai Government First Grade College.
