District court bars TV channel from airing programmes against Dharmasthala

Mangalore, Oct 16, 2013 :  The District and Sessions Court has  restricted a Kannada TV channel from airing or publishing any false or derogatory  report  against the Dharmasthala Dharmadikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade or the institutions managed by him.

Dr Heggade had earlier moved the court through advocate PP Hegde  after the Channel aired a  programme in connection with Sowjanya murder case wherein speakers had hurled allegations against the Dharmadhikari and his family members.
