District Milk Union donates Rs 10 lakh for Uttarakhand flood relief works

Mangalore, July 17, 2013 : The DK District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union  as part of its social responsibility, has donated a sum of Rs 10 lakhs towards the Uttarakhand flood relief works. A delegation of the Union led by the DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bangalore on July 16, Tuesday and handed over the cheque as its first instalment for the cause.

Raviraj Hegde Kodavur, President of the Union, Seetaram Rai Savanoor, Monappa Shetty Ekkar, Sucharitha Shetty, Padmanabha Shetty Arkaje, Directors and  Dr BV Satyanarayana, Managing Director, were also present.
