District BJP pays rich tributes to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Mangaluru, Aug 17, 2018:  The city district unit of the BJP organised a function at the party office here on August 16 to pay rich tributes to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs D Vedavyas Kamath, Dr Y Bharath Shetty, former MLA N Yogish Bhat,  former MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik and several BJP leaders participated in the programme.

Offering rich tributes to late Vajpayee, Nalin Kumar Kateel  described  the  former prime minister as a towering personality who considered service to the motherland as his utmost responsibility. His life and his ideals are a model to everyone, he said.

Former MLA Yogish Bhat also recalled the contributions of  Vajpayee to the nation and how he was a leader who always believed in taking firm decisions.
