Dialysis unit of Fr Muller Hospital, Thumbay inaugurated

Mangalore, May 14, 2014: State Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader inaugurated  the Dialysis unit of Fr Muller Hospital Thumbay on May 14, Wednesday. A mega health camp organized by the Hospital in association with Fr Muller Medical College Hospital, Lions and Lioness Club Bantwal was also inaugurated to coincide with the occasion.

 

 

 

 

In his address, the minister was all praise for the quality health care services rendered by the Fr Muller institutions. He said the setting up of the Dialysis unit in the hospital at Thumbay would go a long way in benefitting the rural populace.

Rt. Rev. Denis Moras Prabhu, Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese presided over the function.

Mamatha S. Gatti, Zilla Panchayat Member, Mohammad Valavoor, President of  Thumbay  Gram Panchayat, Rev. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director, FMCI, Rev. Fr. Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, Administrator, Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay, Dr Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent, Rev. Fr Richard Coelho, Administrator, Father Muller Medical College Hospital, S. G. Acharya, President of Bantwal Lions club and others were present.

 Free check-ups in general medicine, paediatrics, Dermatology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, ENT, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Nephrology, Cardiology, Psychiatry and Homeopathy were provided as part of the camp.
