Dharmasthala case: SIT uses GPR machine to probe suspected burial sites

Dharmasthala, Aug 11, 2025: In a major development in the investigation of a case where it was alleged that several bodies were buried at various spots in Dharmasthala village, the SIT has begun probing with the help of a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) machine.

On August 11, the SIT team, along with GPR experts, prepared to inspect the 13th location identified by the complainant. The GPR machine was brought to the spot near the Netravati bathing ghat, and operations have reportedly begun.
