Dharmasthala: Suspected human remains found at 11th spot on sixth day of SIT search

Belthangady, Aug 4, 2025: A new development has emerged in the search operation for human remains at the Netravathi bathing ghat in Dharmasthala. On the sixth day of the operation, the complainant led the SIT team to a new location, where there are suspicions that remains have been found.

Authorities have not provided any clarification on the matter. Reports suggest that instead of continuing the search at the previously identified spot, the team uncovered remnants while searching at this new site. The SIT team entered the forest at around 11:30 a.m. and has not returned even after four hours.

Four armed personnel have ventured deeper into the forest, raising further suspicions. Additionally, the team was seen carrying two sacks of salt.
